Conducted pre-commissioning shakedown cruises and delivery to the US Naval Fleet.
USS August SSN-710, Submarine Base Groton, CT – Operational Los Angeles Class Fast Attack Submarine – Operation and maintenance of mechanical propulsion engineering systems, maintenance of reactor and steam plant chemistry as well as radiological controls safety. 1984-86
Nuclear Power Training Unit, Ballston Spa, NY – Section Lead Engineering Laboratory Technician - Operational and classroom instructor for enlisted and officer students in the areas of steam and reactor plant chemistry control, radiation safety and radiological controls. Operator of propulsion mechanical systems. Responsible for radcon safety during plant operations as well as during maintenance. Responsible for operational controls of steam and reactor plant chemistry. 1986-1990
USS Fulton AS-11 – Submarine Tender Air and Hydraulics Shop – Provide repair support for oxygen, air and hydraulic systems onboard various submarine fleet vessels.
